广度优先营:构建创新技术全景图

Panorama AI & Computing Camp

广度优先营采用“广度为优先轴向”的领先设计理念,全力构筑创新沃土,融合孟博士提出的“微阻力学习法”(Frictionless Learning),推进效率跃升,帮助学生在现代计算机科学的关键领域建立全景式技术视野,达到大学相关专业覆盖范围。内容系统涵盖以下前沿技术:


  1. 60年发展而来的编程与算法、
  2. 30年来的互联网技术、
  3. 15年来的人工智能演进,
  4. 以及未来10年将推动变革的物联网、微处理器和自主智能体


该营分为两个阶段:【广度优先营第1学期单元】(40授课学时,聚焦人工智能),和【广度优先第2学期单元】(40授课学时,聚焦计算系统),通过大容量知识覆盖与多维技术融合,提供沉浸式学习体验,构建参赛模块和顶点项目。辅以后续免费的【TCT目标竞赛培训】,大大提升学生在科技创新类竞赛中的竞争力,数据表明,获奖率可提升超过100倍。不少学员在短短一年内即在MIT Global AI Hackathon、WAICY、ISEF等国际大赛中斩获重量级奖项。


The Breadth-First Camp adopts the pioneering design philosophy of "breadth as the priority axis," fully dedicated to building a fertile ground for innovation. It integrates Dr. Meng's proposed "Frictionless Learning" method to drive a leap in efficiency, helping students establish a panoramic technical vision across key areas of modern computer science, reaching the coverage level of relevant university majors.

The content systematically covers the following cutting-edge technologies:

  1. Programming and algorithms developed over the past 60 years,
  2. Internet technologies from the past 30 years,
  3. The evolution of artificial intelligence over the past 15 years,
  4. And the technologies poised to drive transformation in the next 10 years: the Internet of Things (IoT), microprocessors, and autonomous intelligent agents.

The camp is divided into two phases:

  • [Breadth-First Camp Semester 1 Unit] (40 instructional hours, focusing on artificial intelligence),
  • [Breadth-First Camp Semester 2 Unit] (40 instructional hours, focusing on computing systems).

Through high-volume knowledge coverage and multi-dimensional technology integration, it provides an immersive learning experience, enabling the construction of competition-ready modules and capstone projects.

Supplemented by the subsequent free [TCT Target Competition Training], it significantly enhances students' competitiveness in science and technology innovation competitions. Data shows that the award-winning rate can increase by more than 100 times. Many participants have achieved major awards in international competitions such as the MIT Global AI Hackathon, WAICY, ISEF, and others within just one year.

课程MAI-101 编程技巧: 零基础起步的加厚编程课程,融合生成式AI技术与算法训练,从ChatGPT与DALL·E实战到USACO/AIO竞赛题,全面掌握编程核心能力与前端开发技能。从第一节课起,学生将在实验与项目中深度融合使用 ChatGPT 和 DALL·E,掌握生成式 AI 技术在现代编程中的应用。零基础低开高走,课程内容包括变量与作用域、数据类型、条件语句、循环结构、基本数据结构(如列表与字典)以及函数的使用与设计。课程实验部分进一步拓展至前端开发技能,涵盖 UI/UX 组件的使用、事件驱动编程、回调函数等技术,同时引导学生掌握调试技巧、命名规范、程序模块化以及高效算法的基本思维方法。所有作业均经过精心设计,部分题目源自 AIO(澳大利亚信息学奥林匹克)和 USACO(美国计算机奥林匹克)试题,学生可考对应的AP CSP。

 

Course: MAI-101 Programming Skills

MAI-101 Programming Skills: A Thickened Programming Course for Absolute Beginners. This course integrates generative AI technologies and algorithmic training, seamlessly combining hands-on practice with ChatGPT and DALL·E to build core programming abilities and front-end development skills. From the very first lesson, students will deeply incorporate ChatGPT and DALL·E into experiments and projects, mastering the application of generative AI in modern programming.

Designed for zero-to-hero progression, the curriculum covers foundational concepts such as variables and scope, data types, conditionals, loops, basic data structures (e.g., lists and dictionaries), and function design and usage. The lab component extends to front-end development skills, including UI/UX components, event-driven programming, callback functions, and more. Students will also develop essential techniques like debugging, naming conventions, modular programming, and basic algorithmic thinking.

All assignments are carefully curated, with select problems drawn from AIO (Australian Informatics Olympiad) and USACO (USA Computing Olympiad) contests. Upon completion, students are well-prepared to take the AP Computer Science Principles (AP CSP) exam.

Course: MAI-201 Artificial Intelligence

MAI-201 Artificial Intelligence: Core Concepts and Mainstream Models in Deep Learning. This course introduces the foundational concepts of deep learning and major models, covering multilayer feedforward neural networks, deep backpropagation algorithms, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks, Reinforcement Learning, generative models, and multimodal AI systems.

The curriculum condenses the key developments in AI technology over the past 15 years into a structured, accessible format for young learners. Hands-on labs fully leverage project resources from MIT App Inventor, Google Teachable Machine, and AWS DeepRacer, enabling students to build, train, and deploy real AI models through practical experimentation.

ArcGen Academy is currently the only known youth training institution that systematically delivers this comprehensive scope of content. Graduates have achieved outstanding results, including winning the global championship and all U.S. youth awards in the inaugural MIT Global AI Hackathon 2024 (Youth Team Winner: SignLingo project, among others), as well as securing gold medals in WAICY 2025 and other international competitions. Course: MAI-203 Internet Techbots

20 instructional hours. This course covers a range of advanced internet technologies, including multimedia integration, sensor applications, cloud database management, data visualization, JSON format processing, Web API calls, GPS positioning systems, interactive maps, automatic navigation, and the integration of AI tools such as ChatGPT and DALL·E. These skills enable students to develop highly functional, innovative applications with complex features.

The curriculum distills the essence of more than 30 years of internet technology development into a focused, high-impact program. It is specifically designed to build a strong foundation for students to achieve outstanding results in various international science, technology, and innovation competitions. Since its launch, students from MAI-203 have consistently excelled in events such as the MIT App Inventor competitions (including MIT Appathon and related global challenges). From 2021 to 2025, ArcGen Academy participants in this course captured more than 85% of the global youth division championship titles worldwide in these major events, demonstrating sustained excellence, exceptional competitiveness, and leadership in youth technology innovation.

课程MAI-204 物联网微处理器:20学时。系统讲解 Raspberry Pi 设置、远程访问与 Linux 命令操作,结合电子学基础与物联网架构,掌握 GPIO 控制与 Python 编程。学生将使用 MIT App Inventor 构建无线控制面板与仪表板,通过蓝牙、WiFi 和 Node-Red 等协议控制 LED、读取传感器数据、控制电机,并实现密码保护等功能。课程还将简要引入 AI 模块、GPS 定位、多点导航与语音提示技术,并扩展至温湿度传感器、光敏电阻、超声波模块等实用元件的接入与应用,拓展学生的系统开发能力。学生斩获 2023WAICY金牌,2024年美国教育部国家理工节冠军等多个奖项。

 

This course provides a systematic introduction to Raspberry Pi setup, remote access, and Linux command-line operations. Combined with foundational electronics and IoT architecture principles, students gain mastery of GPIO control and Python programming for hardware-software integration.

Students build wireless control panels and interactive dashboards using MIT App Inventor, enabling remote device management via Bluetooth, WiFi, and Node-RED. Key hands-on projects include:

  • Controlling LEDs
  • Reading data from various sensors
  • Driving motors
  • Implementing password-protected access and security features

The course also briefly introduces AI module integration, GPS positioning, multi-point navigation, and voice prompt technologies. Students further expand their skills by connecting and applying practical components such as temperature/humidity sensors, photoresistors (light-dependent resistors), ultrasonic modules, and more—building end-to-end IoT systems with real-world functionality.

This focused curriculum equips students with the ability to develop complete, interconnected IoT applications, blending embedded programming, networking protocols, sensor interfacing, mobile/web control, and emerging AI enhancements.
