ArcGen Academy (USA) was founded by Dr. Meng, a well known educator and professional expert in artificial intelligence. The Academy is dedicated to cultivating comprehensive capabilities in AI, programming, IoT, and technological innovation for students in grades 6–12, and is widely recognized as one of the most influential technology education and competition coaching institutions for middle and high school students in the United States.

Over the past four years, ArcGen Academy students have won 850 awards worldwide, including honors from:

• MIT Appathon – An elite national high school app hackathon officially hosted by MIT
• MIT RAISE Global AI Hackathon – A prestigious global youth AI hackathon organized by MIT RAISE, highly valued by top universities
• WAICY (World AI Competition for Youth) – The world’s largest youth AI competition; national gold medals are comparable to elite provincial teams
• Congressional App Challenge – An official U.S. Congress app competition (one winner per district, awards ceremony held at the U.S. Capitol; highly regarded by Ivy League schools)

Dr. Meng holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering, and is a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA), an MIT-certified App Inventor Master Trainer, and the founder of “Dr. Meng’s Innovation Bootcamp.”
He is a seasoned and passionate educator in technology and innovation, with over two decades of deep engagement in education and community service.

With the support of a systematic research training framework, many students began engaging in frontier research while still in high school and achieved significant academic outcomes. Notably, one student published a research paper at the age of 19 that was later formally adopted into textbooks at Stanford University, MIT, and Harvard University, representing a rare and exemplary transition from youth research to the world-class academic stage.

Some students began exploring technology-driven projects during high school, rapidly transforming them into entrepreneurial ventures after entering university. Several startups founded by alumni have already created multiple senior-level positions, demonstrating the profound long-term impact of early innovation education on execution ability and leadership.
